    I have actually seen a photograph of black roses which only grow in one place.

    These black roses grow naturally in the tiny village of Halfeti, Turkey.

    The particular soil conditions and pH levels of the groundwater from the river Euphrates causes the roses to fade from deep crimson to black during the summer. 🙂 ❤

    1. I was looking for photos of black roses the other day, Prenin, but could only find deep purple ones. Then I realised I was looking at tulips! Don’t ask!!!
      Interesting fact about the black roses there though… thanks for sharing!
